Well the month of June has been very busy for Marcus and I and for that I am  thankful.  Over the course of time I have come to realize that I absolutely love shooting people.  The night before a photo session I have a hard time sleeping because I am excited about trying out new poses as well  interacting with someone who I have not met before. Well two weeks ago we met up with Daniel and Amy for their engagement shoot in Annapolis Maryland.  Daniel and Amy actually met at a wedding of mutual friends a couple of years ago and from there love blossomed between them.   We had a fantastic time spending the afternoon getting to know them.  Funny that while talking with Amy we realized that she too is a photographer and not just a photographer but a wedding photographer .  Talk about additional pressure!

When it comes to weddings I have come to realize that the engagement shoot is really important because it gives everyone involved the opportunity to get to know each other better.  It also allows the bride and groom to get comfortable being photographed.  There is also the added benefit of using these  as part of your save the dates or just to keep as a reminder of this amazing time of your life together.    Marcus and I wish that you have a life time of  love and happiness and we are looking forward to your big day in Oct.
