“Twas not my lips you kissed, but my soul,” wrote Judy Garland in 1939.   Nice sentiment and I can fully agree with it when I kissed my wife for the first time.   Truly a moment that I will never forget because it really did feel like coming home.  I am sure a lot of you know that feeling where within that moment everything just feels right.   I honestly don’t mind seeing public displays of affection because it brings a smile to my face.   Whether  it is a subtle touch of your partners back leading one through a doorway or seeing 2 couples holding hands and  even seeing the occasional  peck on the lips warms my heart.

All that aside this picture below was taken in front of roughly 12 people which included 3 sets of grandparents lol.  As you can see my wife’s niece is clearly blushing when this shot was taken.  I only wish I could have turned around fast enough to see how my brother in law was taking it all in.  I have to admit it was a little disconcerting even for me because I have known her since she was 5 years old and I was just thanking heavens that my daughter has a good 8 more years before she will be attending her prom.
