The Verrazano Bridge

My family and I vacation on the eastern shore every year for 10 days or so.  This year I brought a lot of my camera gear so that I could document the trip and include my favorite photographs in a photobook.  I used a service called MyPublisher to build the photobook and I have to say I was extremely pleased with the outcome!

I would wake up around 5:30 in the mornings and head out to Assateague Island which is about 30 minutes away from our location.  Every morning I would go hunting  ”with my camera” to shoot “photograph” some of the wild ponies that run around on the Island and sadly I struck out on capturing any of them on my early morning jaunts.  The good news is that  I would always find something else to shoot.   As a child I have always had a fascination for bridges and on one of those mornings I stopped to shoot the Verrazano bridge which connects Assateague Island to the mainland.
